Chiswick House Ross Ashton Projection Artist
Commissioned to produce a son et lumière about the life of Lord Burlington, the architect that designed and built Chiswick House. One of the richest men in Britain, his entourage is a list of luminaries of the time. These include Alexander Pope, John Gay, G.F. Handel and William Hogarth.
Ashton commissioned the script and soundtrack and combined many of the artworks from within the house along with his own original material.
‘Projection onto Burlington’s own architecture was a powerful way of exploring his work. What could be more appropriate to tell his story?’ |
