Cambridge 800 – Closing Ceremony
After the success of the opening projection events, Cambridge University wished to create something even more exciting for the closing.
In January 2010 they commissioned a series of three son et lumière that were projected at The Senate House, The Old School, The Gibbs Building and the world famous Kings College Chapel. Entitled, “Blurring the Boundaries”, “Planets to Proteins”, and “Nano” respectively.
The overall theme was to examine the interaction between science and art.
The pieces were formed from mixed video and slide projection.
