Accendo: The Yorkshire Museum Ross Ashton Projection Artist
The Yorkshire Philosophical Society was founded in 1822. The Yorkshire museum was purpose built as a museum and is one of the first such buildings in the UK. The façade resembles a classical temple and I believe that this was a deliberate choice to reflect the buildings function as a ‘temple’ of knowledge. It specialises in Geology, Palaeontology, Biology and Archaeology.
