An interactive video artwork; part of Enchanted Parks in Saltwell Park Gateshead 2008. The event ran from 4th to the 14th of December.
The bandstand in the park was transformed into a virtual snow-globe with moving ice backgrounds and falling snowflakes. The icy projected surface had semi-transparent areas, which allowed members of the public to 'peer' through the ice and appear within the artwork. Crystal ice sounds and music enhanced the experience. Design by Ross Ashton. Soundscape by Karen Monid. Programming by Richard Porter.
